Hey everybody!

I know these breaks between chapters can be annoying to some as I’m sure you want to read comics and not just see pinups, and I appreciate your patience. With that in mind, I figured I’d let you all know what the next couple of updates are going to look like.

It’s bad timing on my part, but the cover page for the next chapter will be this Friday’s update… followed by no update for Christmas. I’m taking it off as to spend time with the family, especially since the nieces/nephew have been sick and multiple instances of plans to get together with my brother have fell through in recent weeks.

However, I will have something for all of ya to loo forward to! In lieu of Magical Knight Lune XY’s not making it in the Honeyfeed web novel contest, it means I’m free to do whatever I want with it now. To make it easier for everyone to read it without having to read it in a browser, I’ve compiled all the chapters into a ebook, which will be made available for free right here! It’s got everything you’d want in an ebook PDF: page numbers, table of contents with hyperlinks, and all that jazz!

Guess that’s just two remarkable things, huh?

Anyway, for those who skipped out on reading it on Honeyfeed, now’s your chance to give it a quick read!

I’m sad to say that Lune didn’t make it to the finals in the MyAnimeList x Honeyfeed web novel contest. Guess it wasn’t meant to be.

Thanks for everyone who read it and left feedback. As for the future of Lune, I’m not entirely sure what I’ll do with it. Unlike Kat, it’s a self-contained story, so it’ll be easier to self publish it if I go that route. Whatever happens, I’ll make an announcement here.

The version currently on Honeyfeed will remain up and free to read for those who still want to and haven’t gotten around to it yet.

Magical Knight Lune XY is back up on Honeyfeed, with various revisions and massive edits throughout chapters 1-6! If you already read it then I highly suggest going back and rereading it again as not to be confused by events that might occur later in the story that reflects back to changes/additions to the story.

He y’all! Years ago I started a Ko-fi account, but wound up not really using it and solely focusing on Patreon instead. But now I’m opening it up again!

For those who like what I do any want to throw me a couple of bucks, but aren’t too interested in signing up for a monthly subscription, Ko-fi is the place to do it! I’ll be placing art and comic pages to it from here on out, albeit on the same schedule as Deviant Art/Pixiv/and Tumblr, so about a week behind what you guys see here. What comes next in terms of my writing future? I don’t know. But at the very least I know that there is still a future!

Happy Memorial Day everybody! I hope you’ll be enjoying the three day weekend! And if you work retail, I humbly sympathize with you as I worked retail for years and know that hellscape all too well.

Just as a warning because of the constant comments telling me to hurry it up and saying I’m slow, I’m letting you guys know ahead of time that I took today/tomorrow off from working on the comic so I could enjoy the holiday weekend. Feel free to insult me ahead of time. There will be a goofy quick doodle comic in its place, but I know plenty won’t find that acceptable what with where we’re currently at in the story.

I wanna give you guys a head up about two days where there isn’t going to be updates. I’m going to be getting a nerve block procedure done to finally alleviate my testicular pain after over a year and a half of dealing with it. Soon I will be able to sit and lay down without being in near constant pain! Woo hoo! Because of that I won’t be working on the comic those days for the guys on Patreon, so I’ll be skipping the regular update for everyone this time around instead of my usual delayed skipped update. I’ll draw a little doodle for those two days.

In other news, turns out my insurance won’t be covering the procedure and I’ll be out of $700 this week! I’m assuming the second procedure is going to cost the same, but not entirely certain. But let’s just pretend it is, making the total roughly $1400. Now, I do have the money in an emergency savings (thanks stimulus checks!), but that’s still taking a massive bite. Because of that I’m going to put up a YCH auction or two in the near future to help offset some of the costs. Whenever I get around to it I’ll make a news post here and let you guys know!
