Happy Memorial Day everybody! I hope you’ll be enjoying the three day weekend! And if you work retail, I humbly sympathize with you as I worked retail for years and know that hellscape all too well.
Just as a warning because of the constant comments telling me to hurry it up and saying I’m slow, I’m letting you guys know ahead of time that I took today/tomorrow off from working on the comic so I could enjoy the holiday weekend. Feel free to insult me ahead of time. There will be a goofy quick doodle comic in its place, but I know plenty won’t find that acceptable what with where we’re currently at in the story.

You’re entitled to holidays too, kimosabe, and even if the suspense is killing us out here, I think it’s part of the fun. People who are rude or insulting can take their sense of entitlement and stuff it. They clearly have no idea how much work goes into creative output like this. So thankya, thankyaverramuch. 🙂

I don’t really care if it goes slowly or if someone pulls a "Miranda" and rips another bandaid off… I just love the story and the current flashbacks are adorable and enjoyable, they’re even making me think that Elaine, after remembering them, might come close to revealing her own secret of her feelings for him.
Of course, of all the possible ways for their secrets to be exposed, it would be if Elaine admitted to Doris (either over the phone or in person) that she has feelings for Kevin…. but I’m getting off track, and there’s probably better ways to break the news from one to the other.
ANYWAY……. have a wonderful holiday and enjoy the peace it will bring (hopefully)
