Pipe Burst (1/16) and Update

Realized I forgot to post an update here on the main website.

Long story short: hot water pipe burst in my apartment and flooded the place while also turning it into a sauna.

Talked with the insurance agent today, so my claims should be going through pretty soon.

The apartment’s repairing the pipe, but since my flooring was vinyl they don’t need me to move apartments or anything.

I didn’t want to wait for the insurance stuff for my PC, as they want me to take it somewhere to get it checked before they’ll pay for it/pay partial if it’s just a bad power supply or something. Took the opportunity to upgrade the PC so hopefully it’ll be quicker to export comic pages/be able to stream without having to cap the framerate at like 30fps/720p. Later today/night I plan to hook it up and start installing all my software and pray that my SSD/HDD from the other computer weren’t affected. My comic backups are a couple months out of date, so that’ll be a bitch if I gotta reexport a bunch of pages, or worst case lose stuff.

Thank you for your patience as I deal with this. I hope to get back to posting comic updates next week.
