As both a trans woman and a long time fan (since at least 2017), I am sorry for the community constantly calling you an egg and stuff, causing you to deny it all and retreat further into the closet… However, as long as it has taken, I am happy for you figuring out your gender!
Relax as much as you need, take things easy and even skip updates if you need to! I personally will be patiently waiting for you. 🙂
The "Egg Prime Directive" (the name is based on Star Trek) is a trans code of courtesy, I guess. Basically, it boils down to "if you see someone you think is acting like an egg (that being a transgender person who has not yet realised or accepted they are one), don’t tell them they’re an egg or might be trans". There are good reasons behind the Prime Directive; for one, it’s massively inconsiderate to tell someone you think their self-image is wrong, and for two, it often results in rejection, denial and pushback, which might delay someone from having the kind of self-refection to decide for themselves.
No-one is an egg except in retrospect. It’s funny (and a little tragic) for me to look back and see all the very obvious signs I was trans all along, but that’s only because I had the chance to reflect and decide for myself I’m trans. If I’d had people pushing that identity on me by telling me I was acting like an egg, it might have taken me even longer than it did.
Glad for you, Mega! It was a journey to read and follow BS23 from like 200-ish page and observe, how your art style and overall skill was growing up. And it’s kinda wild, but also heartwarming to realize, that you was exploring yourself as a person too. Hell, i kinda realized something about myself too… Oh fuc… I wish you best luck, good health, good people around you and all that jazz. Take care and don’t overburden yourself, gal.
That’s some excellent taste in manga you have there. Outlaw Star was one of my favourites growing up, and EVENTUALLY I’ll read the others. Reading list is way too long, though. Feels like Takehiko Ito might’ve been a big influence on some of your writing and comics, too!
… oh, and congrats on coming out, sister! That eggshell must have had a lot of cracked Flex-Seal on it, just like many of ours.
Oh my god, today I read the congratulatory post on webtoon. I went,"Wait, Patricia, HOLY SHIT DID THEY COME OUT, are they trans?" lo and behold I find this post. So happy for you, I wish you the best of luck and wish HRT and hope everyone has been treating you well.

Yeah, far too many people out here recklessly breaking the Prime Directive.
the star trek one?
No, the trans one…

Hope this helps 🙂
P.S. There’s a frankly much better-written explanation of the concept on this page: https://genderdysphoria.fyi/en/am-i-trans
I’ve been a long time fan. I also got over my "It’s just a fetish" hangup and have been living as a woman for a couple years now.
So happy you got there. <3

Oh, wow. Thank you for trusting us enough to share this with us.
Do what makes you happy. As long as it not hurting others lol
Congratulations! I’m so happy for you.
Writing was on the wall when Mega went into the bodysuit. Curious to see what direction things go with the comic.
"Of course you have blue hair and pronouns"
